Generic Aggrenox is used for reducing the risk of stroke in patients who have previously had a stroke due to a blood clot in the brain. It is also used to reduce the risk of stroke in patients who have had transient ischemic attacks (TIAs).

Clopidogrel is used for reducing the risk of stroke or heart attack in patients who have already had a heart attack or stroke or have other circulatory problems due to narrowing and hardening of the arteries.

Pradaxa se používá k prevenci agregace krevních destiček a vytváření krevních sraženin. Snižuje riziko mrtvice u osob trpících některými poruchami srdečního rytmu. Pradaxa se dále používá k léčbě nebo prevenci výskytu krevních sraženin v žilách nohou (hlubokožilní trombóza neboli DVT) nebo v plicních žilách (plicní embolismus neboli PE).
